The National Company for Agricultural Services launched the International Pet Travel Permit service in conjunction with its participation in the Veterinary and Pet Expo, held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center from November 13 to 15, 2023. The company’s booth featured an introductory display about its objectives and the services it provides across the plant, animal, and fishery sectors.

CEO Eng. Omar Al-Suhaibani explained that the new service allows beneficiaries to complete all government and non-government procedures to obtain a travel permit for pets through land, sea, and air border crossings. The service includes issuing health certificates, official travel permits, logistics services, and customs clearance for traveling with pets to and from the Kingdom or while transiting through Saudi territory. During the expo, the company also conducted a workshop titled “International Pet Travel Permit” to explain the customer journey and the service application process.

The National Company for Agricultural Services is a government-owned entity, established by a Council of Ministers decision to provide services delegated by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture. The company aims to improve operational efficiency, enhance service quality and customer satisfaction, and support the development of the agricultural sector, which plays a key role in achieving food security in the Kingdom.
