The CEO of the National Agricultural Services Company (NASC), Eng. Omar Al-Suhaibani, along with several company officials, conducted an inspection tour and field visits to monitor operations and ensure the readiness of quarantine centers, slaughterhouses, and public utility markets in the Makkah region to provide services during Hajj 1446 AH.
The visit included King Abdulaziz International Airport Quarantine, Jeddah Islamic Port Quarantine, Al-Khamrah Quarantine, the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture office in Ta’if Governorate, and the Vegetable and Fruit Market in Ta’if. It also included visits to Al-Muaisim Slaughterhouse, Al-Jallabah Market, and Al-Akayshiyah Slaughterhouse in Makkah, as well as the engineering unit responsible for the safe disposal of solid waste generated by private slaughterhouses, in addition to visiting several agricultural projects and companies in the region.
This visit underscores the company’s commitment to monitoring operations, ensuring the readiness of facilities assigned by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, and verifying the implementation of the highest quality and safety standards to provide the best services during the Hajj season.
It is worth noting that NASC was established by a Cabinet resolution to provide agricultural services mandated by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture.
