The National Agricultural Services Company (NASC) signed a cooperation memorandum with the Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden) to collaborate in the fields of services, consultancy, and sponsorships.

The memorandum was signed on behalf of NASC by Dr. Ibrahim Qasim, Executive Vice President of Operations, while Eng. Anas Al-Bassam, Senior Vice President of the Commercial Sector for the Phosphate Business Unit, represented Ma’aden.

The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation in research and development, conduct joint studies on the Saudi agricultural market, support soil testing services provided to farmers, sponsor and support exhibitions and festivals, and implement awareness campaigns targeting Saudi farmers. The agreement also includes the exchange of data and information regarding the size of the agricultural market in the Kingdom.

It is worth noting that NASC was established by a Cabinet resolution to provide agricultural services mandated by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture.
