The National Agricultural Services Company (NASC) issued 9,972 agricultural licenses during the first quarter of 2025 for various agricultural categories, as part of the services provided by the company to workers in the agricultural sector across all regions of the Kingdom.

NASC clarified that the issued licenses covered public utility markets, livestock, plant, and fishery categories, in addition to veterinary facilities, during the period from the beginning of January to the end of March this year.

It was noted that plant resources topped the list with 5,058 licenses, followed by fishery resources with 3,274 licenses, while veterinary facilities accounted for 703 licenses, public utility markets for 530 licenses, and livestock for 407 licenses.

The company added that beekeepers in the plant resources sector recorded the highest number of permits with 2,829 licenses, while fishermen obtained 1,357 fishing licenses in the fishery category. The number of licenses for practicing veterinary professions reached 345 licenses, licenses for broiler chicken production in the livestock category reached 274 licenses, and licenses for marketing service providers in public utility markets reached 146 licenses.
